While I’m not an apologist, but!!!!!!!!

Theirs a young man, not that young that I speak to daily. Jesus has turned his brain to mush. He so wants everyone often by sheer will to believe as him. He will often say in his defense “it doesn’t matter what a person believes because they will all be saved” i.e. Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, everybody. That’s a clever way to make everyone believe as you, even if they don’t. Our latest round of disagreements started with the belief systems of Jehovah’s witnesses. Mind you, he has no idea of what they believe, yet he uses his nonsensical arguments to cement his points. This is from JW.org Yes. We believe in Jesus, who said: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) We have faith that Jesus came to earth from heaven and gave his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice. (Matthew 20:28) His death and resurrection make it possible for those exercising faith in him to gain everlasting life. (John 3:16) We also believe that Jesus is now ruling as King of God’s heavenly Kingdom, which will soon bring peace to the entire earth. (Revelation 11:15) However, we take Jesus at his word when he said: “The Father is greater than I am.” (John 14:28) So we do not worship Jesus, as we do not believe that he is Almighty God. Notice the last sentence, that clearly states “So we do not worship Jesus, as we do not believe that he is Almighty God.”

Another point I want to briefly bring to light is whom the JW’s believe Jesus to be.

According to some Watchtower literature, it is taught that Michael the Archangel is Jesus and that Jesus, after He ascended into heaven, resumed the name of Michael.

“It proves Michael the archangel is no other than the only begotten son of God, now Jesus Christ. The very name Michael means who is like God and indicates Jehovah God is without like or equal.” (New Heavens and New Earth pg.30-31).

Jesus is actually the incarnation of Michael the Arch angel and resumed the name when he ascended into heaven ( ibid. pg.30 Your will be done on earth pg.316 )
Do Jehovah’s Witnesses still believe this, and, if so, what is the biblical basis from which these teachings are derived?

We need to allow others who believe as they do, believe as they do. Religion is belief system that gets you along when you’re feeling down or low. We all have things we believe in. I would never tell anyone my belief is the truth in any way. For my belief is not a fact. Do the research before you start defending someones belief, before taking time to understand it. The JW”s also don’t believe in the trinity, in which they say it derived from Satan. Again, do the research before contending for their faith.
