We look at ourselves as imperfect imperfections, unjustly
Yet wonder why
The age of the almighty lens defines beauty
Yet we become defined by it’s unsuspecting power
Ah, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but whom does it behold
Is beauty a definition that must be consumed for consumption for the consumer
Beauty is what beauty is; an indisputable rawness of unbridled truth!

That last line really spoke to me: beauty is rawness of truth … that is so true. It makes me think about a lot of things — claiming the truth in our self worth, truth in His love for us, truth in speaking with love to each other. That is what is beautiful. thanks for this thought provoking poem 🙂
